Just like the odds of a plane crashing are very low, so you don't really have to worry about anything anyway. |

the runways are surprsingly close to main roads. Most likely, in this case, the pilot overshot the runway and landed to far towards the middle of the strip. Imagine if it had happened opposite, if he had been short and touched down 1000 feet before the runway, little ole me, standing there fascinated by it's mechanical might would be crushed. the runways are that close and i have never seen runways, for commercial jet liners that close to civilian traffic. Eitherway, that pilot is in a whole lotta hurt right now. He can expect some serious law suits coming his way. I contemplated driving up there yesterday and snapping some photos, just for fun...i wussed out. I did get some neat photos of the fires that occured several months. Journalistic photos like that can be fun. |
Now I've been wanting to get back into B&W of the human form, especially nudes, but until I can set myself up again with a darkroom, I'm not even getting started. I saw you had a bit on your website about the film and paper you're using; I'd be curious to see how the actual prints come out. Have you seen Ewing's Love and Desire:Photoworks that came out last year? It's got a wide span of stuff in it, some interesting, some not. |
