    i heard this morning on NPR a program that discussed this particular jewish music/choirs that combines traditional jewish hebrew prayers with Bob Marley reggae melodies. and this group performs this music every year and is gaining popularity among many non-jewish populations.

    the deal is that the theme of passover is the celebration of the jews' liberation from enslavement 3000 years ago. and liberation is the theme of much of Marley's music as well. so there's the connection.


    i thought that was pretty darn cool.
