The whole concept of this popped into my mind when I was fixing my dad's company's CD-Duper...and I was unplugging a cable that had totally fried, and my thumb hit the edge of some random peice of metal in the case, and it was sharp enough to make a nice friendly cut...why the hell don't companies smooth the edges of metal parts in computers so that people won't slice their hands up? Personally, I don't have a specific preference on objects having sharp or curved surfaces, I usually just go with what I like, and if the asthetics of the object are good, go with its spirit, and match my mindset. Wow. How on earth did I get that from cutting my thumb? |
