My fear, once I have thoroughly practiced the mug proceedure and have it down to an art, is that I will like the city too much and crave it horribly until I'm able to return next spring. I am staying with people that I don't know. I just know people who know people who know these people (yep, I meant two people who knows). Of course this isn't set in stone as I have yet to receive confirmations. All will work out, I have faith, with little reason to have it. Any parting words of advice, warning, or whatever else? |

Going to nyc always results in bad stuff in my eyes and mouth. Always avoid flying debreis. |
the wife is coming as well for her second interview with the Ltd group as an asst designer for sweaters.....there is a lot of potential riding on this interview, it could change our lives drastically. i suspect my time there will be hurried and lucid, i do plan to snap some photos......i have business out in jersey on several days as well. after NYC then im off to Nashville for a day, this will be uneventful I am sure as i am staying at an airport hotel, in fact its not even Nashville, its some fucked up place called LaVergne....whatever, perhaps this will be the night to rent porn in sip whisky and cokes in those plastic cups that come shrinkwrapped. |

kick the pigeons. you can't trust the cops, unless they're selling you acid, in which case it's prolly legit cos they get to confiscate lots of it. get some shady-looking pirated CDs from shady-looking CD shops and impress all your friends with the aphex twin remix of devil's haircut. it's been a while. Maybe I'll go back this winter. |

Bell, you really should check it out. Bluestockings is a women's bookstore, the only one in the city, and generally just a great place. It's on Allen Street, south of Houston, and might be a good place to stop in if the hustle and bustle gets to you. In addition to selling good books, they make their own chai. |

that's how I remember feeling in NY last summer actually was pretty wacked out but it FELT lucid... |
does the photoblaster take normal pics too? or only the multiple shots? I kinda need both, and the only other camera i have is a REALLY old digital one that my dad gave me from his work. Right. |

On the other hand, know any good relatively inexpensive "regular" cameras? |
plus the really expensive nikon thing i found in the garbage at my work two years ago. |
