I thought the best was the chimp going through a ghosttown of defunct dot com storefronts, and then finally he picks up the sock puppet from Pets.com with a tear in his eye, a la that 70's commercial with the Indian and the garbage. I think it was for EDS. |
That wasn't the outback by the way, it was shot in the tropical North of the country. |

Re Survivor, never watched the first, and damned if I'll watch the second. I just don't get the appeal of that show. It's so contrived, and there's no way all those annoying, effected, wanna-be people are eating rats and roughing it. You know when the camera goes off, they're at the portable bar drinking mai-tai's and having hors d'oeuvres. |
I was completely and totally unaware of the SuperBowl. Completely slipped by me. Sneaky little bugger. |
I don't think I'll be watching. Don't you think that 'reality' shows have been done to death now? How many times do I need to see Sherrif John Burnell and his crazy road ragin drivers. And don't get me started on that creepy trenchcoated guy from America's Most Wanted. We get that show here. I know that when you guys decide to commit a major crime New Zealand is the first place you'll be coming. |

And think of the family value? |
I actually really enjoyed "Survivor". I avoided the whole thing while it was in its first run, but I was forced to watch the last episode and it really pulled me in. enough so that I tried to catch all the reruns. but then I like "reality tv"; I can't stop watching "The Real World". I didn't watch the new Survivor, though. I was watching "Selena". I feel so inarticulate today. I hope that's a real word. |
