    I wasn't adopted, In fact, my parents are still together and planning their 29th wedding anniversary. Sometimes I wonder....with their marriage....how fucked up is that?

    My mother was adopted.

    She was old enough to rember her birth parents and siblings.

    But, she rarely mentioned them.

    I don't think she ever had any contact with them afeter she was placed for adoption.

    I do know her parents could not afford to feed all the kids so she was placed for adoption. This was during the depression.

    My cousin was adopted. I knew who her birth parents were growing up, but she didn't. When her mother died, she was then introduced to her birth mother and biological siblings. She was glad she was adopted and away from them and has very little to do with them.
