    Have you ever done this?

    Have you ever made a long distance trip to meet someone whom you first met online?

    Was the visit OK, or did you end up having a wasted journey thanks to them not really wanting to meet you in the first place? Or did anything happen to you?

    If the vist wasn't OK, or if something happened to you, are Canadians more likely than Americans to pull such a thing?

    my mother once went to michigan for a "chat bash" and I came along with her so I could meet some people I knew there. I met a girl who I later found out lied about Everything, and I met a nice couple who met on-line and didn't last a year before the She met another He on-line.

    on-line couples tend to drive me crazy. I'm sorry, I don't mean any offense to anyone. I know there are exceptions to every rule.

    Dan, ren, Johnathan and Terri are all people who've come to visit me. ren may not count because she lives in TO. She's the one who introduced me to my bestest friend. of all of them, Johnathan is the only one I still know.
