i saw him making health shakes on the 700 club one morning, it was just wrong. Like those Juice Tiger info-mercials with the old man, but about Jesus too.

Bad things happen to both good and bad people. I think it's important to play a good clean game and not revel in someone else's misery. Or, to put it another way, if you believe in karma, you could be subjecting yourself to karmic whiplash! I'm not being judgemental, just feel it's my duty to warn you.

    Whatever, judging hippie. ;)

    no kidding.

how are you supposed to overcome your own insecurities if you can't revel in the suffering of others?

By semillama on Friday, February 14, 2003 - 02:46 pm:

Wasn't that in the Declaration of Independence, you know, the right to life, liberty and the reveling in the suffering of others?

Hell, there is an entire GENRE of tv devoted to this.

By Meili on Friday, February 14, 2003 - 05:48 pm:

OK, now I'm the one who's suffering! Revel on,...

Last night when I wrote that post it seemed so in earnest, but when I reread it today it seems so didactic. Sorry!
