Vague childhood memories

For no apparent reason, my memory was jolted today into coughing up an image of me playing that card "game" 52-pick-up with a neighbor boy when I was about 7. I thought about him a little bit, and I can remember he was maybe 5 years older than I, and he had an older brother with glasses and a sister with a strange name (possibly connected to or easily nicknamed into Uranus...I can't explain this). I remember having my sled stolen out of my backyard one winter, and thinking the sister had stolen it. I can remember what street on our neighborhood they lived on, and the fact that they had a bad reputation, and the fact that the boy who played cards with me was pretty nice to me, but I can't remember their names and it's driving me insane.

    Argh.

I've called my brother to see if he remembers them, but he's not answering. Eh, he was probably too young anyway. They moved away shortly after that card-playing memory was created.

This happen to you recently? Start thinking about something fuzzy and nonsensical from your childhood for no reason at all?

Now, Heather, when you said "fantasies," just what did you mean?

By hetaher on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 - 05:44 pm:

    um

    not overtly sexual

hard to explain. and i might have to be under
the influence of something to really tell you

maybe if one day you give-in to meeting in
    person, i will
