I know I originally supported the idea of trying Saddam, but I read this article and it made me think a little more on it.

We do need to set an example of democratic justice, but is it at all possible in Saddam's case? Or would it appear more of a show then a real trial?
And what would happen if we could find an "impartial jury"?

    thats retarded logic.

Saddam should be handled just like any other world leader, deposed and charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity. Whether tried at the Hague or in Baghdad, he should be subject to the same guidelines and laws as leaders before him have. He doesnt need to be a bone we throw back to the Iraqi people because we think they deserve it, because, well, we brought hell on earth to Iraq.

He can share a cell with Milosovic but the standards of law must apply to Saddam and any suggestion otherwise, such as this nincompoop in this article here is just silly.

every day the terrorist threat 'warnings' are getting more and more absurd.
