    what?

By Rowlfe on Thursday, November 18, 2004 - 08:34 pm:

what does this have to do with Canada?

By kazu on Thursday, November 18, 2004 - 08:36 pm:

    yeah?

but I learned a new fact:

"Before Thursday, the Parliament Act had been
used only three times: to lower the age of consent
for homosexual sex, to allow British courts to try
Nazis suspected of war crimes and to change the
electoral system for selecting representatives to the
    European Parliament."

    those otherwise seem so random.

    wtf.

i was trying to post a link about FOXNEWS starting up in canada.

i must have fucked it up.

either that, or the right wing conspiracy is VASTER THAN WE EVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE.

can you tell I don't want to be studying
for something I am going to fail anyway?

By wisper on Friday, November 19, 2004 - 12:27 am:

some channel always showed Fox News for a full day on sundays anyway. Painfull.

Not much to worry about, as we already get CBC Newsworld, BBC News, CNN and CNN Headline News as part of basic cable.

I like BBC. It's so laid back.

By Rowlfe on Friday, November 19, 2004 - 12:38 am:

I actually dont think Fox News will make any impact up here at all...

some things just dont work up here. I dont picture them being like Starbucks and Krispy Kreme have done up here. They're everywhere, but noone goes there.

By wisper on Friday, November 19, 2004 - 01:20 am:

I'm sure they'll eat it up in Alberta.
    Nowhere else.

By dave. on Friday, November 19, 2004 - 01:45 am:

if you're a canadian asshole, you're already beyond fox, but you'll enjoy it anyway.

if you want to be a canadian asshole, but aren't quite smart enough to figure out how to go about it, the fox will find you and make you its bitch.

there are assholes and wannabe assholes everywhere.

i just saw the best shooting star of my entire life. it was very bright, blue-white, and spanned an arc of about 20 to 25 full moons with a big flash at the end. traveling from the nne to the ssw, beginning just south of azimuth. lasted less than a second. i wish i could somehow upload the image from my memory.

horkheimer would have jizzed his haggars.

By TBone on Friday, November 19, 2004 - 12:41 pm:

I think it's the conspiracy, nate. It worked for me.

I often wish I could show people still-frames of things I've seen. Moments that pass so quickly that there's no possibility of getting a camera in there. When things line up in such a perfect way for a tiny bit of a second, then it's all over and impossible to properly explain...
Anyway, that sounds like it was cool, dave.
