did you read the original article? It was a bit fluffy, but at least it was positive. I like it better than the one this Florida chick wrote. She's promoting stereotypes even as she's trying to talk about the "new image" of librarians. For the record, I think the guy in the NYT article with the Federal Depository tattoo is a handsomeface.

back to the thread....i agree with the NYT. i work directly with libraries, mopre so than I ever have in 10+ years in publishing. agatha, you're a librarian right? Will you be coming to SoCal for the ALA conference next month?
