Yeah, that sounds like it'd hold you!

All I've had is a nutrigrain bar, and a banana. All out of yogurts today. About to have some Newton's Naturals Almond'Raisin'ly Mix [sic]. I love the disclaimer on the package -- "This product has been packaged in a facility that processes peanuts and other tree nuts." Geez, no kidding...

lender's bagel with cream cheese and iced coffee (by which i mean leftover coffee over ice, nothing added).

i had it on the back porch while a hummingbird breakfasted on my honeysuckle.

Strained yogurt with pecans and honey, lapsong soochong tea. My imagination runneth over at brekkies.

    What's strained yogurt, platy?

By platypus on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 - 12:51 pm:

It's uh, yoghurt that's been strained? They do it in Greece and the Middle East; you make yogurt, and then you ladle it into a colander lined with cheesecloth to let the whey drip out, so the yoghurt has a thicker texture. I don't like that watery-ass thin crap that passes for "yoghurt". Fage is a pretty popular store brand of strained yogurt, but I usually just make my own at home.

peanut butter and honey crackers. thank god I had this at my desk, didn't have time to make anything at home or stop for a bagel this morning. MMmmm.

By Dougie on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 - 03:01 pm:

Oh, ok, makes sense platy. I usually just eat Stonyfield or Dannon. Tried Greek once that had fruit in it -- kind of sour for me.

It does tend to be a little sharp/tangy, which is why I like it with honey!
