haunting the black air, braver at night; dreaming evil, I have done my hitch over the plain houses, light by light: lonely thing, twelve-fingered, out of mind. A woman like that is not a woman, quite. I have been her kind. I have found the warm caves in the woods, filled them with skillets, carvings, shelves, closets, silks, innumerable goods; fixed the suppers for the worms and the elves: whining, rearranging the disaligned. A woman like that is misunderstood. I have been her kind. I have ridden in your cart, driver, waved my nude arms at villages going by, learning the last bright routes, survivor where your flames still bite my thigh and my ribs crack where your wheels wind. A woman like that is not ashamed to die. I have been her kind. (anne sexton) |

Violets are Blue, God I'm fucked up, Are you? |
violets are yellow i think that hal is a funny fellow heh |
'dreaming evil I have done my bitch'. i think i need new glasses |
this morning i got out of bed and stepped on a mouse. that was my idea of hell. |
I don't remember a god damn bit of it. |
I'd vote for the Cincinnati airport (actually in Kentucky) at 6am on a rainy windy Sunday morning midwinter as an admirable candidate for the honor. |
i'll have to find it sometime. |

Pink bunny meat. Pink bunny meat. Mustard goes well with it, Horseradish goes well with it, The bunny ran for his life he did, I cut off his head with a carving knife, He bled all over the carpet and died, Did you ever taste such a thing in your life, As pink bunny meat? |

Ok dougie, thank you for that... Now how about the fucking translation. |

I'm going to bed. Think I'll dream, dave? How about you, Hal? Nighty night. |
Chinese food. |
something else i noticed......when you are sick, do you find yourself tremendously horny? I was commenting on this to someone and they specuaolted it an inate thing....we feel we might die so we must procreate procreate procreate. fascinating |
|
school now! |
Yep. Horny as hell when I'm sick. And when I'm bored. Especially in Math classes. |
|
i write and draw in math class to stay awake. all that logic is tiring, and with a teacher who's constantly telling jokes in that monotone of his, it'd put any insomniac to sleep. he wants me to take calculus. i understand math, i do it well, but i don't like it at all. yick. |
it's like sitting around banging nails into a piece of wood and then deciding you don't like carpentry. besides, if you don't take calculus you may never develop those parts of your brain that allow you to really think. or, you can just sit around with four fingers in your cunt, taking craps and giggling. |
i took physics two years ago and my favorite part was the unit we had on relativity. it's amazing stuff. i just have no clue if i want to take calculus. my degree requirements in math have been filled. any additional math classes will be electives, perhaps eliminating the possibility of taking other classes i'd like to take. if money was no object, i'd quit my job, move to an apartment near the school, and take classes all the time. |
Take it if you want to learn it. If you like math but NOT THAT MUCH. Take something you might be interested in learning. |
Thanks Nate for the morning laugh my ass off. |
Had I finished college I probably would have been filling requirements right up until the end. I dove right into my sociology studies and humanities classes, taking only the minimum of uninteresting required courses, such as hard science and a lab or a math. In other words i probably would have put off the final math and science requirements until my last semester if I could. But im also known as a procrastinator. So nate, based on that logic, would I have to go to war, to decide if I don't like war? Or is that the part of my brain that has yet to be developed because i didn't take calculus? Speaking of war......i gotta theory....granted it can be shallow, paranoid and even baseless....but i put this together last night. If you believe our gov't often has more power than we truly know, perhaps you accept they have a tight grip on our economy. If you accepting Freud's self fulfilling prophecy theory, perhaps you believe that by Bush speaking about recession for a year on the campaign trail, he inadvertently started the domino effect...making investors nervous, making consumers nervous, and people generally tighten up. There are many other factors as well....that could be put into action here, but lets keep it simple. Companies start laying off people....particularly in the new dot-com fields...so now you have a bunch of above average trained folk in the job place. Bush takes office, one way or another. He speaks of increasing military spending. Powell, a trusted General takes the helm. Cheney, another former sec. of defense takes the number 2 chair. There is talk about rogue nations, military deficiencies blah blah. We lob a few missiles over to Iraq....test the waters. Powell pays a visit to the mideast. Israel has a new warmonger of a prime minister. NOW In the fall legislation was passed to redo the facade of the military, perhaps you have noticed the new ads.....pretty nice ads...the recruitment offices should be seeing an increase from those sparkly dot-com era ads. Is it me, am I paranoid, is my pot too strong or not strong enough, or are we gearing up for war? |
uhm, that wasn't really based on my logic... math doesn't really begin until you get to calculus. math before calculus is like being born blind and learning to paint. you may be able to figure out how to dip the brush in the paint and hit the canvas with it, but you'll never understand what the point of it. |
|
there's a calculus problem for you, nate. i might take calculus. might not. i'm going to look through my copy of the catalog today, register tomorrow. |
hmm. |
