    Dear #School# Community,

To mark the start of another school year, the President of the United States will address students across America in a televised speech on September 14.

Because #District# believes a speech by a sitting president addressing students can be a useful instructional resource, #District# schools will show the speech in conjunction with a #District#-developed social studies curriculum at all grade levels.

Parents who wish to opt their student out of viewing the speech should submit a signed note, including the name and grade of the student, to the school’s front office by September 13. During the airing of the speech, students who have opted out will be provided an appropriate alternative learning activity and will not be penalized in any way.

Thank you for entrusting your child to our team of great educators at #School# and for your continued care and support of their educational expertise and professionalism.

Found a "Parking Violation Notice" today, seems that it is either the wind blew out or someone tossed it. When read the ticket, "Ticket No: 2145985" and so on down, "Amount Due Today" is 25.00. So, I figure it out, if they handed out about two million ticket a year, probably the city makes about over 5 million dollars on collecting the tickets. Had me thinking..........something.........
