By patrick on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 12:27 pm:

    Ok. Out with it.

You gotta hankerin for Wolfie? Hard on for Kopple? Some random gal in the desert for CNN?

Which broadcaster, announcer, reporter, host etc would you most like to shag?

I've come to the conclusion its Natasha Kaplinsky

ive been watching CSPAN's BBC feeds and usually at night they air Breakfast. In addition to London traffic reports and weather i get to feast my eyes on her as she describes big masculin weapons of mass destruction and Saddam's rings of fire and so on.

Im not sure what it is. When she speaks she has this Elizabeth Hurley quality to her voice, inflection and she has big mouth. Literally. Some call it cock holster. Some call it DSL (dick sucking lips). Whatever.

You look at the wretched business attire they put her in, the silly blazers, hose and even the retarded hair do, but you know, the minute that all comes off, she's a filthy, nasty british sex pot.

    Ok.

    im getting carried away.

    your turn.

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 12:29 pm:

Does Stephen Colbert count as a reporter?

By patrick on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 12:41 pm:

    as far as Im concerned.

did you see his "report" last night from the Oscars?

    That was fucking hilarious.

By kazoo on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 12:42 pm:

    moe rocca

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 12:45 pm:

No, I missed that -- I wonder if there are clips floating around I could see....

    I think he's....foxy.

If I liked women, I would say Diane Sawyer. She's intelligent, uncommonly good-looking, and has a really nice voice.

By patrick on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 12:45 pm:

elaboration makes a thread go round you know.

By Nate on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 12:56 pm:

there is this scary looking plastic chick on the shitty news out of salinas.

she'd do well with my cock in her ass.

By Czarina on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 01:07 pm:

    Nic Robertson

He looks so sweet and innocent, and then he'd show me his very own weapon of mass destruction.

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 01:09 pm:

Say, Patrick, remember that comment you made about Mick Jagger being "ugly sexy"? I was thinking about that, and I realized I really like, uh, "brutal sexy" -- guys who look rough and thug-like. Clive Owen and Sean Bean are good examples.

Well, anyway, Adrian Finnegan of the BBC World news is brutal sexy, so add him to the list.

By patrick on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 01:14 pm:

i dont know any of those people spider, but i get your drift.

"she'd do well with my cock in her ass."

see thats what im thinking about Natasha. those business blazers scream sex juice. panty hose should only be ripped off. there's only one way to undue studio-quality hairspray and thats mashing it against a headboard.

she makes me think of doing unusually dirty filthy stuff.

like, i would never refer to a womans mouth as a cock holster but her image, just....

By sarah on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 01:17 pm:

By spunky on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 01:38 pm:

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 01:50 pm:

    Ew, you find that sexy??

By eri on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 02:02 pm:

That's what I was thinking. I can't say that there are any newscasters I find sexy. One I used to think of, but not anymore.

Gary Leezak was hot before he went national, but now he just bugs me for some reason. He has lost his sex appeal.

By semillama on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 02:23 pm:

There is nothing sexually appealling about Greta Ven Sustern. Sexually Appalling, maybe.

By trace on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 02:34 pm:

no I do not find her appealing at all.It looks like the right side of her lips are paralyzed.
It's a freak out just to watch her talk.....

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 02:42 pm:

Dude, why'd you post her scary picture in this thread, then? :)

Now, who do you think is cute?

By patrick on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 02:46 pm:

now you're mucking even my lighthearted threads chump.

By trace on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:06 pm:

honestly, I have not seen any reporters that I have found cute.

    I live to muck

By Antigone on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:29 pm:

Nah, you're just posting on a thread your wife reads. :)

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:35 pm:

Hey, Eri gave the name of someone she liked...

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:36 pm:

(Uh-oh, did that violate the Godfather's "never interfere between a man and woman" rule?)

By eri on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:37 pm:

I don't care if Spunky names some chick on tv he thinks is hot. He knows that. He also knows that i will pick on him to no end about it later (all in good fun and embarrassment).

I know he has a thing for Alicia Silverstone, but she's not on the news, so she doesn't count.

By patrick on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:40 pm:

yeah, Fox needs to cut the shit and move to the popular Russian format of naked news, or at least strippers for news anchors.

they dyky look doesnt bode well.

By Antigone on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:43 pm:

The relationship rule is that chix can say they think guys are cute all they like, but the second the guy says another gal is cute, he's TOAST.

By sarah on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:48 pm:

    he's right, you know.

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:51 pm:

Wait, you mean there are rules? Shoot, I'm never gonna bag me a man now.

By eri on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 03:56 pm:

Spunky has always been able to say he thinks some chick on tv is hot, and I don't have any problems with that. I don't care. It's not like the second we got together we died and no longer can see other people as attractive.

It's a joke for us, he picks on me, I pick on him.

It's not a rule for us that he isn't allowed to say that someone is hot.

The only time I would ever have a problem with that would be if he compared me to these other women (he breasts are bigger etc) and he has never done that, just as I would never do that to him.

I don't know of any other news anchors I think are hot, though, no more to add to that one. I never keep track of who they even are anymore.

Matt Lauer (sp?) isn't bad, not HOT, I don't want to reach out and rape him or anything, but he isn't bad looking.

By Antigone on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 04:26 pm:

    Shit, sarah, you're cute!

    (I'm sooooooooooooo fucked.)

By spunky on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 04:32 pm:

    no,
the rules apply when she decides they apply.
    Trust me on this.
Some days there are rules, some days there are no rules......

And of course you never know which rule is being applied because there are lots of them...........................................................

By Spider on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 04:35 pm:

I have only one rule -- don't be a jerk.

By sarah on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 04:39 pm:

Spider, i'm sorry to tell you this... you're shit out of luck. you're gonna have to get real and modify your rule.

By patrick on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 05:25 pm:

    suckas

By Antigone on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 05:25 pm:

Heck no! Never modify that one!

Just don't knee jerk jerkify every guy, that's all.

By Nate on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 05:29 pm:

listen to sarah, spidey. all the best guys are jerks.

By semillama on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 06:14 pm:

All the best guys jerk off.

By semillama on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 06:14 pm:

Now I'm craving Jamaican Jerk Chicken.

    Damn you all.

By kazoo on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 07:02 pm:

I don't mind when guys I date talk about women they find attractive...back in the day when it bothered me I kept my mouth shut on the issue entirely. I didn't even like hearing about it from my guy friends. How much does it bother men? It made my exboyfriend insane though he never would admit it; he just found other reasons to yell at me. A lot of guys I know are more than happy to hear about the women I am attracted to.

By trace on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 07:04 pm:

now ex's are a completely different subject.

As far as people staring at Eri, i think there is something wrong with them if they do not...

By patrick on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 07:09 pm:

its like....not even an issue with either of us.

When she talks about cute guys (she savors the likes of Jude Law, young Jagger and Keith Richards) she always puts them in context with me. "He's hot because he has eyes like you..." etc.

And when it comes to me oggling other women, such as that BBC babe last night, she realizes it as no threat to her status quo and is just some sexual frustration venting.

By dave. on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 09:26 pm:

daljit dhaliwal. in spite of that strangely bulbous nose.

then, rudi bakhtiar. pretty lame as an anchor and often stricken with bad hair days, she is unsurpassed at shooting fuck-me-deep looks into the camera.

By Dougie on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 - 10:35 pm:

    Yes yes yes dave. Daljit!

Also, I like Thalia Assuras (sp?) and Maria Bartiroma (sp?)

You're right spunk, I find it disturbing to watch Greta talk. She's on the tube right now. Very disturbing.

By semillama on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 09:15 am:

Ok, put me on the Daljit bandwagon - wowza!

By Spider on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 09:51 am:

She's lovely, though she never smiles on camera.

And to represent my neighborhood, if you go here and go to the "fox 5 personalities" section...Brian Bolter is very cute in a cheerful little boy kind of way.

By Spider on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 09:55 am:

"When she talks about cute guys (she savors the likes of Jude Law, young Jagger and Keith Richards) she always puts them in context with me. "He's hot because he has eyes like you..." etc."

That's a very sweet and loving thing to do.

By patrick on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 12:05 pm:

    "Brian Bolter"

    ???

    sounds like porn name.

    Jimmy Jackhammer?

    what!

    bravo dave...indeed hotties.

i watched the BBC girl again last night.

the infatuation grows, though last night she was wearing that cheesy lip gloss that 12 year old girls wear.

By patrick on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 12:06 pm:

and Id bet trace's fox honey is a lesbo.

c'mon. you know she's a softball and etheridge gal all the way.

By eri on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 12:39 pm:

Spunky isn't into the buff chicks. In fact, most of my lesbo friends he finds repulsive. Even the ones that aren't slightly butch.

He likes the skinny, blonde, barely legal looking ones!

By patrick on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 12:44 pm:

By Spider on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 01:33 pm:

    Ahhhh. Thanks, man.

By Spider on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 01:34 pm:

PS. My main man Tony Blair is in DC today! *squeal*

By kazoo on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 02:24 pm:

    you're so cute

By Spider on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 02:40 pm:

Seriously, I have a crush on him. I think he's smashing.

BTW, I never noticed this until last night, but GWB has a very nice nose.

By sarah on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 02:51 pm:

jesus h. christ in a chicken basket.

i looked at that photo... looked at that nose... and i literally gagged.

By Spider on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 02:59 pm:

Maybe you've developed a conditioned response to his image? Because those are some mighty fine nostrils on that fellow. :)

By patrick on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 04:21 pm:

    i have.

i heard his voice speaking to his cannon fodder, i mean, troops this morning, hearing those poor schleps cheer like that combined with his voice thwarts me into a fit.

i immediately hit 'CD' onm y car stereo to find it was appropriately set to a Hendrix disc.

my blood pressure went back to normal.

By Spider on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 - 04:32 pm:

I think I'm in that early PMS state in which everyone becomes attractive to me.

That would explain my sudden hunger and mood swings. Duh.

By kazu on Monday, March 1, 2004 - 05:36 pm:

Moe Rocca is going to be on campus tomorrow and I don't think I can go.

By wisper on Monday, March 1, 2004 - 09:36 pm:

    eeeep! you must touch him!

By patrick on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 - 01:09 pm:

he's like my least favorite...along with Samantha Bee. If it were Stephen Colbert, the other dude that looks like Colbert and that other guy with the balding hair. Those guys are the best. Moe is like so so and stuff.

By kazu on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 - 01:23 pm:

    but he's so cute!

I do agree that he's not the best. Stephen Colbert is much funnier. I think Rocca's better in small doses. I do like his delivert and he seems like someone I'd like to be friends with or have in class.

By Spider on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 - 01:24 pm:

If it were Stephen Colbert, I would swoon. Swoon, I tell you!

By patrick on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 - 01:25 pm:

so you dig the nerd chic too eh kazoo.

By kazu on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 - 01:52 pm:

    sometimes.

By wisper on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 - 06:57 pm:

I didn't like samantha bee at first, until i watched an interview with some Daily Show producer who pointed out
"She's not the funniest or the smartest cast member, but she has BALLS."

Her studio stuff is just okay, but she truly is fearless out in the feild.
Like when she was interviewing presidential candidates about their stance on issues and then start rolling her eyes and spinning her finger around her temple to make the "he's NUTS!" sign?

Or when she stood up at one of their press conferences and asked "So, like, don't you think that being the president would be like TOTALLY cool?!?!"
She's the best for field work.

By Rowlfe on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 - 11:16 pm:

I vote for Ed Helms. I think Ed is the cutey wootest of them all. So boyish, yet manly. Boyman. er. Moy. Ban.

great. thanks. goodnight. tired go now.

By Spider on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 07:39 pm:

Did anyone see the Peter Jennings special on Jesus and St. Paul last night?

    Peter Jennings is hot.

By kazu on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 07:53 pm:

No, but I have a question for you, Spider. Can the Pope retire or does he have to die before there's a new Pope?

By Spider on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 10:19 pm:

I don't know for certain, but I believe the Pope could step down if he chose. I'll see if I can find an official answer.

By TBone on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 - 11:37 pm:

Yes, the pope can retire. Some have.

By TBone on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 - 08:24 am:

...but I think there's more to it than that.

By Ferretstyle on Sunday, June 13, 2004 - 12:59 pm:

Boy, is she one sexy girl.
I wish she would suck winning manhood
    with various emo hardcore/metalcore tracks
    playing in the background.
    Plus I don't mind women with short/crew/crop
hair do's, because it reminds you of
having sex with a beautiful lesbian.
    YEEEESSSSS!!!!

By Ferretstyle on Sunday, June 13, 2004 - 01:00 pm:

    I mean Natasha Kaplinsky everyone.

By Phil on Friday, October 22, 2004 - 02:52 pm:

    By Ann Coulter

While the people of Afghanistan are celebrating their first democratic election and the Iraqis are taking their first steps to democracy, the great thinkers in the Democratic Party are still polishing up their conspiracy theories about the war to liberate Iraq .

This may be the first time in American history that the decisional calculus for many voters will be: Do I really want to throw my hat in with these crazy people? Of course I do, being one myself!

Speaking of which, where are the feminists on war with Iraq? They're against regime-change. try changing their bubble-bath brand if you ask me!

Among his other pointless carping about the war in Iraq, Kerry keeps claiming the military is overextended. His supporters claim Bush has a secret plan to bring back the draft. Whatever happened to all those gays who wanted to join the military? We haven't heard a peep out of them lately. How about rounding up a "Coalition of the Fabulous," Sen. Kerry? And what does his good pal Mary Cheney tell him about that?
I personally enjoy gay sex, and find no reason not to invite my niece and her quadrapelgic mom over for a crotch-banging romp on election night to celebrate.

As even The New York Times admitted the day after the vice presidential debate, "(T)here is no evidence Mr. Cheney has pulled strings on Halliburton's behalf" and "The independent General Accountability Office concluded that Halliburton was the only company that could have provided the services the Army needed at the outset of the war."

Most amazingly, the Democrats have the chutzpah to complain that Bush claimed he was a "uniter" and yet(!), "have you ever seen America more divided?" -- as the Democrats' Demosthenes Edwards put it.

I personally would rather push my fish-face into a wall of orange dog-vomit.

Coincidentally, the very day of the vice presidential debate, a gun was fired into a Bush/Cheney campaign office in Bearden, Tenn. -- one of a series of violent attacks on Republican offices around the country. (You can tell it was Democrats firing those guns because none of the shots ever hit anything.)

Also that day, a group of liberal loonies stormed a Bush/Cheney office in Orlando, Fla., and ransacked the place. A few weeks earlier, a 62-year-old woman in Manhattan was beaten with a cane by an 86-year-old woman for carrying a Bush-Cheney sign.

On the basis of their own insane, violent behavior toward Republicans, Democrats demand to be put in the White House -- so the violence will stop. At this rate, it's only a matter of time before the Kerry campaign announces that anti-Bush insurgents control most of the Bush-Cheney 2004 headquarters, and that the sooner the U.S. pulls out of those quagmires the better.

    Ann Coulter

By Frder on Sunday, July 10, 2005 - 03:47 pm:

it gives away my age, but the ture sex goddess new caster was tricia toyota.

By droopy on Sunday, July 10, 2005 - 04:27 pm:

never heard of her. i tried to do a word search for tricia toyota, but all that came up was lots of links to the lyrics of an old punk song by the dickies called "(stuck in a pagoda) with tricia toyota".

tried a search or natasha kaplinsky and found this site.

i remember blindswine and i discussing our attraction to daljit dhaliwal.

By agatha on Sunday, July 10, 2005 - 05:28 pm:

By jack on Sunday, July 10, 2005 - 05:29 pm:

her name is actually spelled "tritia"

By droopy on Monday, July 11, 2005 - 12:15 am:

i've been in love with parminder nagra for a couple of years now. but she's not a reporter.

turned on my radio a while ago to listen to a show called "sin fronteras" - rock in spanish - but suddenly it's become "the sonic burrito". it's kind of cool; it's got blocks of blocks of songs by the same artist (like frank zappa) or similar themes. one block was all these housebeat montages using dialog from british comedies. i liked the one with mrs. doyle from "father ted".

By V on Monday, July 11, 2005 - 07:16 pm:

...now I just dont like "Father Ted"...not that old guy with the rotton eye hanging out of his head.
