he's a hilarious radio entertainer that reveals people for the morons they are. im not sure about a tv show though.

    eh.

By semillama on Thursday, November 21, 2002 - 12:39 pm:

    Never heard of him.

Speaking of shows that have had people proclaiming tv has gone to hell, did anyone see South Park last night? The whole allusion to "The Hobbit" made for tv movie during the gerbil in the butt parts was insane.

By patrick on Thursday, November 21, 2002 - 12:45 pm:

he basically dupes the moronic listeners of talk radio. he acts as host and guest, using some brilliant disguises, and says some of the most idiotic things to lather the listeners into a frenzy, prompting them to call and make asses of themselves.

    INSANELY HILARIOUS.

i didn't know the animated hobbit was a made for tv movie. the first time i saw it was as a projected film, but of the sort you see while sitting on a floor in a school library.

I just about lost it when the folk singing started. Instant classic.

I loved Last Night's South Park.
I thouth that was out of the Hobbit, I could not remember for sure....

    The Ass of Doom.

The teacher made more sense when he was trying to get fired then I have heard out anyone in a long time....

By trace on Thursday, November 21, 2002 - 05:20 pm:

of course The Island of Doctor Moreau Turkeys on the second one was priceless.....

By Hal on Thursday, November 21, 2002 - 06:00 pm:

Dude I laughed my ass off last night, the original Hobbit Animated thing was a college project that had almost no budget. The Lord Of the Rings that followed had a budget and sucked ass, and the Twin Towers that came after that was like the original hobbit, no budget and was awsome.

The ass of doom song gave me tears because of its similarity to the Hobbit travel song at the beggining of the animated Hobbit.

ACtually, Bakshi's LOTR didn't have enough budget, as they ran out of mony before they could cover teh Return of The King.
Return of The King was the movie done by the group that did the hobbit and it totally sucked. totally. it was an abomination.

By Spider on Friday, November 22, 2002 - 10:03 am:

Worse than Bakshi's LOTR? I shudder to think of that horror.

I loved the animated Hobbit. I don't think I saw any of the sequels

It was truly a blight upon this world. Totally got rid of Gimli and Legolas, had all sorts of sappy folk singing, it was utterly a technicolor abortion.
