you as a dog represents a repressed negative self-image as being lower than human, seeking for something that would fulfill you, which is being valued by the family you never had and being able to eat normal food, instead of whatever you can pick off the side of the road. The volcano represents a vision of my own suppressed libido, which indeed can erupt without warning, affecting thousands of lives, altering the landscape, and generates a clusterfuck of titanic proprtions.
