    smalltown biblethumping cult murder. outsiders blamed and labeled as cannibals, persecuted and criminalized up to the point of coercion and conversion. fugitive from family, feds and former friends.

    II.

    parapeligics can be double agents. looks like a cultist but seems to be real... just two steps ahead, breathless and running, just alive enough to feel like there is an actual friend out there. until a point of semi-seduction is reached and the three "f"s burst in. the two-second lead is lost, love's labours lost and the chase begins anew.

    III.

    i saw her die. they killed her with\out a mark, nude in the wetlands. she slept with death's breath, the waterweeds weaving over her skin and hair. the world goes dark.
