dude, you didn't, like, get stoned and shit your pants and walk around in it all day, did you?

By patrick on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 - 04:52 pm:

    that would be diaper rash.

'saddle sores' is a term adopted from an ailment motorcyclists suffer from after riding a motorcycle for hours on end.

or say you rode a pony jack. you rode a pony for a very long time...bareback...over the sierras. imagine how those muscles where you legs meet your crotch might feel.

By patrick on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 02:41 pm:

the idea of an underground railroad for naked sorabji pictures is appealing.

    nates scrapbook died years ago.

perhaps its time i take the reigns of this ongoing effort.

By moonit on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 03:06 pm:

    Green towel. Jewellery.

I have to get up. again.

Then I'll be wearing pink boy cut undies, a black sports bra, a black tank with a black shirt over top, dark blue jeans and stripey ankle socks with my nikes.

    It's Friday YAY.

By Nate on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 03:09 pm:

well, if it died it died from lack of interest. i still have all the photos.

    i think.

    oh wait. damnit kazu.

By kazu on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 03:15 pm:

    ha ha ha ha ha.

if you start the project again, I will return the photos and maybe include some new ones.

By patrick on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 03:19 pm:

let this be a formal re-invitation then.

By moonit on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 03:21 pm:

You don't have me either. :P

By Antigone on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 03:26 pm:

    If I lose 50lb, you've got my pic. :)

By Platypus on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 04:14 pm:

We can make it a naked Sorabji weight loss challenge. Yes.

Right now I am wearing a yukata and glasses. I realize that this means I am wearing less clothing than I started out with, but I did just shower. And I don't have to be anywhere until 3:30 when I go for the dreaded annual. Luckily this time I have a list of questions to distract the doctor with, so I'm hoping maybe I can somehow lure the hostile forces away from my privates. (I don't have high hopes for success.) They did just get a nifty vagina-cam at the clinic, which I think is kind of neat. I don't know if we get prints or if we have to request them from our fils or what. I kind of want a giant framed print of my growler (thanks moonit) on the wall opposite the front door. It will inspire conversation, I'm sure.

Moonit, it's very upsetting that you are a day ahead of the rest of the pack. It makes everything so very confusing. And has your present gotten there yet? I am really worried about it melting or something.

By heahtre on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 05:20 pm:

i think patrick needs to go on tour to take the pictures

    maybe we can get funding

they can be part of the book

    patrick?

By jack on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 05:42 pm:

now, you can't very well expect patrick to go on tour just after getting back in the saddle, can you?

By heahtre on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 05:48 pm:

he can take his saddle with him

By Sye on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 05:51 pm:

I don't even want to think about THAT kind of saddle sore...

By patrick on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 05:55 pm:

    ohh man

i could put faith in your vision heather.

By jack on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 06:02 pm:

    sounds like a go.

By jack on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 06:03 pm:

    er.

    black blend socks
    new blue jeans
    black boxer briefs
    black t-shirt
    black leather jacket

By Platypus on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 06:04 pm:

    I think it's a brilliant plan, heather.

By patrick on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 06:13 pm:

that and a sidestep of emailing me images now.

    lets stay focused here.

the opportunity to have my lens graced by your fleshy bits is one thing.

emailing your images, now is another.

By Antigone on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 06:21 pm:

patrick, your lens will never grace my fleshy bits. Especially not the telephoto, you randy bastard.

By wisper on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 06:30 pm:

wait wait.... you're telling me that kazu somehow has the naked sorabji pics?? when the hell did this take place.

As if i could get pills through either of our postal systems? No pills for pat.

I'd sooner send beaver pics than boob pics. I dunno, it's less personal somehow. Am i right, ladies?

By patrick on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 06:32 pm:

    shit
    the beaver sent me pills

and beaver pics are accepted with equal glee

    now on with your beavers.

By Nate on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 08:14 pm:

    kazu got the sem pics.

no nudbjis that she hadn't seen before.

    I am wearing:
    a black tshirt
    a black sweater
    boot cut jeans
    black bra
    blue jockey underwear
    black dansko clogs
    a belt
    boring.

However, earlier I added a pink wig and a tiara to the rest of the items. I was carrying a wand too.

My library class is making a calendar of naked librarians for 2006. I foolishly agreed to participate with my big old flabby ass.

By RC on Thursday, October 28, 2004 - 09:57 pm:

SIGN ME UP FOR ONE! Nate to -- he collects pictures of naked Sorabjians, right?

Where do I send the money?

    - RC

By Platypus on Friday, October 29, 2004 - 12:37 am:

I am wearing a pair of old jeans I just found at the place of thrift. I hacked the bottoms off so they would be midget approved and hemmed them with neat ribbon. Then I stuck a nifty piece of fabric with latin all over on one of the back pockets.
The bikini cut underwear are still present.
On top I have a see through pink t-shirt covered by a natural cotton tee from some place called "Kiwi Designs" (which is based in texas?). It has a goose on it, and below it says "goose . el ganzo . l'oie". The goose is purple. Wearing purple dansko mary janes (shiny) on my footsies. Watch, rings.

I am deeply confused about why people who have been directed not to contact me feel the need to contact me. It's very, uhm, annoying. My bubble has been violated.

By moonit on Friday, October 29, 2004 - 01:43 am:

Platy! You rule! I'm on a sugar high!

The pandyr emailed me and said 'there's a HUGE package at home for you'.

And its beautiful and I am a little frightened of the pumpkin flavoured things, but I'm sure I will be okay.

Thankyou so much, I have to get my stuff together and mail you something back :)

    mmmm reeeses.

By agatha on Friday, October 29, 2004 - 01:44 am:

I'll let you know in 2005, RC.

Who's contacting you that you asked not to contact you?

By lapis on Friday, October 29, 2004 - 01:58 am:

    biketube & pink leopardprint cuff
    red sequined hat

    eyeliner
    redlipstick

(oohh, was gonna post this waaay back like four hours ago.)

most of the list is the same.

    no shoes
    no contacts
    add hoodie and glasses

my legs starred in their own photograph, taken by a stranger.

By Platypus on Friday, October 29, 2004 - 02:07 am:

Yeah, they had tons of halloween stuff in the store, and I thought "what the heck, it's fun-sized, everyone likes things that come fun-sized right?" And I could not find whatchamacallits ANYWHERE. I searched high and low--no one up here had them. Next time I am in the city I will look for them.

Agatha--this silly girl who is really idiotic, stupid, bigoted, and not very fun to be around. Unfortunately, one of my friends happens to be dating her. So, yeah. I've been pretty good at skirting the issue, but I'm not so cool with her calling my private number to ask me why I hate her. I'm an irrational snob, that's why. And don't call again. My friends have this deep and pressing ideal that all of their friends should like each other, and when you're friends with someone like me who hates people...you're just going to run into problems. I don't need everybody to like each other, I just need everyone to be courteous and beyond that I don't push it. Silly friends. *sigh*

Now I am reduced to the polka dot underpants stars and the pink t-shirt.

And I am way excited that moonit's candy arrived. I was really starting to get worried. Since the lady at the post office was so mean.

I filled out the customs declaration form. I brought it to the counter.

"Is this box over nine pounds?"
    "Uhm, I don't know. Probably?"
    "Hrmph."
    *weighs it*
"Uhm, yeah, this is over nine pounds, you need a different form."
    "Ok."
So I fill out the other form.
"Oh, this has CANDY IN IT. You didn't say it had CANDY on the first form."
    "Uhm, yeah I did."
"They might not accept CANDY in NEW ZEALAND."
    "Uhm...I haven't had a problem before."
    "Hrmph."
*looks it up in a little book*
    "Well. I guess they do."
    "Yeah, ok."
"So WHAT KIND of candy is it?"
    "You know, halloween candy?"
    "WHAT KIND!"
    "Reeses, almond joy...I dunno. Candy."
"So it's from the store in the origional packaging?"
    "Uhm...yeah."
    "Hrmph."
*fusses with the box for awhile*
"Well, there are a couple of ways you can send this..."
"I want it sent the fastest way, you know, so it doesn't melt?"
    "Oh."
    "Yeah."
    "So AIR-mail."
"Yeah, ok, if that is the fastest."
"Well GLOBAL EXPRESS is the fastest."
"Well then send it global express."
"You can't send INTERNATIONAL packages over seven pounds global express...."

    And so forth.

And I found out that you don't get the prints from the vagina cam. I guess they only use it if something wierd is going on in there. I so wanted to send patrick a really origional beaver shot, too. Damn.

for some reason I always find it creepy when you people act horny, which is odd because I usually enjoy that feature in people. I see you all as so not at all sexual. you're all eunuchs to me.

why are you wearing two pairs of socks?

sometimes I wear two pairs of socks because I think my shoes have grown, or my feet have shrunk.

By patrick on Friday, October 29, 2004 - 05:39 pm:

    for the same reason.

the shoes are about a 1/2 too big.

it doesn't help that the bikeaccident that caused the sprain was on the way to my friend elicia's house to whine about the election, though it gave me a good excuse to leave early and pretend i didn't know anything.

By Dougie on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 - 05:51 pm:

A bigass bandage on my left forefinger -- had to go to the ER yesterday because I got 1 hook from a treble hook stuck in my finger. Caught a bigass striped bass, was holding him with my left hand and trying to get the hook out of his mouth with my right hand (meanwhile, the 2nd treble hook on the lure is free). The bass wriggles out of my left hand, and the spare hook catches me on the left index finger right by the main joint, and suddenly I've got 10 pounds of flopping fish hanging from the hook in my finger. Cut the treble hook off the lure and went to the ER. They had to push the hook through the skin so that they could cut the barb, and voila, no more fish hook in finger. Two big holes there, but no stitches though. It was such an awesome fishing day too (around dusk, cold out, fish hitting everything you threw at them). Left them biting. Wanted badly to go back again today, but wifey won't let me.

Yeah, lots of times. My aunt and uncle live there.

    Black thin cotton socks (?)
Black knit cotton palazzo pants (J Jill)
    Red tank top (Ralph Lauren)
Black gauzy cotton v-neck long-sleeved t-shirt-type thing with smocking at the V (from Anthropologie)
Black long-lengthed cardigan (Land's End, from charity)
    Hair in braid
    Silver rings
    Curled eyelashes

My hair is almost down to my waist now. I really should cut it because it's not that healthy, but I love how it allows me to blend in here.

Oh, and I'm wearing Bag Balm on my severely dry hands. My skin appears to be dissolving on my knuckles.

    camo pants
black + red Rage Against the Machine shirt that Rowlfe gave me because it was his but he said it looked better on me.
    green wool army jacket
blue + black striped hat (I'm cold)

My jacket has the poppy on it. It's poppy time, you know. Poppy DAY even. Our veteran's day is called Rememberance day.
I bought mine from some uniformed kid standing in a mall entrance. This is the first year i haven't got one off some old veteran. But it was on the news... there are fewer and fewer veterans to sell them, they're all dying so fast now.

My dad told me when i was little that it's rude to wear a poppy before Nov.1st and wearing it after Nov.11th is considered bad form. I don't know if this is true or not, I had one permanently attached to my back pack all through highschool. Why not?

In case you're wondering, the poppies are made of a thin plastic material that is coated on top so it has a sort-of velvet texture. They fall off CONSTANTLY. I think it's so you have to buy more than one.

And in elementary school you would take out the pin and black centre, fold the red part in half, stick it between your lips and go 'muuuhmuuuhmuuuh', and it would look like you were wearing red lipstick. And then the teacher would catch you and you'd be in HUGE trouble, for such disrespect.

I forgot to take time to remember the vets.

and I didn't have a poppy this year.

funny thing is, I didn't run into One Single Person selling them this year, and I refuse to pick one up off the ground and wear it (as I did when I was little).

maybe the disrespect of wearing a poppy for too long comes from the fact that people seem to wear it as a fashion accessory. it's like their wearing a christmas pin or something; I think many of them forget what the poppy stands for and just want a pretty flower for their lapel. maybe I'm over simplifying.

we have the cutest little owl that lives in the tree behind our back fence (on the other side is a creek and just some land where nobody builds because its on the low side and unsafe to build to due to flood possibilities).

anyway, leroy has his own personal relationship with this owl. he sits in the back garden laying in the dirt waiting for the owl to appear, usually right after dusk when it's officially dark outside.

then they talk to each other. the owl starts to hoot and leroy sort of half barks/half groans and makes funny noises that normal dogs don't make. like he's trying *really* hard to talk in owl. this will go on for long periods of time, which we think is cute, but our neighbors probably don't.

Dr. Pepper, I could certainly use one of those right now. I've been warming up by turning on the hot water in the shower every once in a while, and I'm going to use the oven to make dinner. The repairman should be here tomorrow morning.

A couple of years ago in Montana, our heat broke when it was in the single digits outside. It got down to 49 degrees in our kitchen. Right now, it's about 58 degrees in here, but there's a draft.

By Dr Pepper on Monday, December 10, 2007 - 01:08 am:

Heather, forgot to mention a pair of shoe...
Spider, My ex-wife and her two children went to Montana a long ago, they tell me of their amazing story about their trip to montana, I have never been to western part of the U.S.

it is bitter cold here and the children are full of moths. we eat wool.

the good part is that the streams are lined with gold.

    grey hoodie
    green polo
    blue jeans
    all-black sneakers
    white socks
    pink woven scarf
heavy blue backpack (sitting on the ground)
    blue jacket (on chair)
and carrying leftovers from a french class potluck that are wrapped in an ancient jurassic park towel

Oh, this is really really bad.
    * Dave's XL blue plaid flannel shirt
    * Harry and the Potters "save Ginny" tshirt
    * long sleeved gray tshirt underneath the other two shirts
    * hideous, too-short, beige flannel pajama bottoms with pictures of sheep, fences, pillows and ZZZZZs on them. gift from mother.
    * gray sport socks
    * navy blue crocs

    It's 2:20pm, might I add.

By Spider on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 - 01:51 am:

    Don't feel so bad, Agatha:

    *Black, stretched-out, cotton, v-neck, long-sleeved, hoodie shirt
*Purple and white tie-dyed tank top
    *Brown yoga pants
*Black wool socks with sheep, blue flowers, and red barns on them (and little rubberized flowers on the soles to make them non-slip)
*Rust-red throw blanket around my shoulders

And the heat was fixed this morning.

By Dr Pepper on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 - 02:03 am:

Spider, glad your heater fixed, it is 34 degree outside, and I don't feel it is kinda cold, but tomorrow, we will have ice sheets all over....

By platypus on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 - 04:28 am:

Spider, I am jealous of your heat. The gas company is supposed to come and install a heater and they haven't done it yet, and thus I am reduced to wearing a quilt around the house.

By semillama on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 - 02:55 pm:

It's supposed to get into the mid-50s today. I don't like it. Fortunately, it will get back to being winter by Saturday.

My home town has had 70 inches of snow so far this winter.

By Dani on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 - 03:11 am:

light purple pajama bottoms with dark purple little flowers

    gray v-neck T

    high of 83 degrees today

central air is set at 72

I miss the snow home in NY

By Dr Pepper on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 - 04:30 am:

Dani, sound like your in Southern or Western part of the U.S. Mine is 34 degree outside with ice all over as precaution :-)

By Dani on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 - 03:20 pm:

Yeah, I'm in Florida. Been here almost 10 years now and it just gets hotter and hotter. We used to actually have some "winter" weather where it would cool off to 50's and 60's during the day and 30's and 40's at night. That's not the case anymore.
But, it is what it is and I can bitch and complain about it all damn day but I can't control the weather so I just need to DEAL with it!

By Dr Pepper on Thursday, December 13, 2007 - 02:10 am:

I liked 50's and 60's during the winter time, same as tennessee and mississppi.

By semillama on Thursday, December 13, 2007 - 03:35 pm:

If it's in the 50s and 60s, it's not winter.

By Antigone on Friday, December 14, 2007 - 02:48 pm:

It's recently been in the 80's down here...

By Dr Pepper on Saturday, December 15, 2007 - 12:32 am:

Antigone, I was in Dallas last year Feburary and December, but this time, I will be some where in Southern State for a week long vacation time.

By Czarina on Thursday, December 27, 2007 - 01:40 pm:

Jeans, a camo t-shirt with rhinestones on the chest, pink crocks[one on each foot], which match the rhinestones.

Its chilly here, the 50's but damp. When the temp drops here, you can't warm up, cause of the humidity.

    Hey Dani!

By Dani on Friday, December 28, 2007 - 08:12 pm:

    Hey Cz!
