By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 11:29 am:

Come on. You need a hug. I need to give a hug.

The line starts here. Who's first?

By patrick on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 11:44 am:

    *scurries and hides*

By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 11:46 am:

    No, come back! Please. Please?

    Nobody loves me.

    :~(

By patrick on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 11:58 am:

i love you spider...i always get weird when people offer hugs as therapy. I clam up.

I clam up at odd times.

By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 12:40 pm:

    That's okay, sweet thing.

I give you a hug in my mind.

By droopy on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 12:58 pm:

when mohammed fled mecca, with the koreishites close behind him, he hid himself in a certain cave. suddenly an acacia tree in full leaf sprang up at the mouth of the cave, a wood-pigeon nest in its branches. a Spider wove a web from the branches of the tree to the mouth of the cave. when the koreishites came to the cave and saw the web, they decided that no one had passed that way recently, and went on.

    hugz

By The Watcher on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 01:03 pm:

    I'm with Patrick.

I'm not the kind of person who can take hug therapy well.

It's always seemed so foney to me.

Not that our Spider is foney or anything it's just... Like I said earlyier, I'm not that kind of person.

By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 01:06 pm:

    Someone appreciates me, I see.

You, sir Droopy, get a bear hug and a hair ruffle.

By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 01:06 pm:

Watcher, you get a wink and a grin, how's that?

By Czarina on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 01:43 pm:

Me first,me first! Am I too late to be first?

By The Watcher on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 01:51 pm:

    I'll take it.

    Thank you Spider.

By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 01:59 pm:

Czarina, you can be fourth. There's no shame in that.

I give you a hug and a twirl.

By Xyrea on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 02:09 pm:

Hugs are never phony if there done with feeling. That arms'length patting the shoulder crap just does not count. It's as bad as saying the yard-in-between-each-other, circular-motion-without-speaking-dancing of Junior High is *actually* dancing.

I would like to claim a hug, please.

By Czarina on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 02:19 pm:

You'll have to be fifth, cause I got dibs on number four.

By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 02:19 pm:

You, my friend, get a full-body hug that lifts you onto your toes.

By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 02:53 pm:

Hey, didn't you get my hug, Czarina?

By pez on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 03:16 pm:

    huggles!

yay, i want a hug s'il vous plait.

By Spider on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 03:19 pm:

That last hug was for Xyrea.

Pez, you get a hug that turns into a waltz.

By wisper on Wednesday, September 19, 2001 - 05:39 pm:

    can i get a hug?

    and some Astro-Glide?

By Alex on Thursday, September 20, 2001 - 09:21 am:

thanx spider, much appreciated i feel much better now.

Im moving up to my house in Nottingham tomorrow. I was supposed to be on my may now, but what with being ill its been delayed. Still, pretty meaningless and insignificant in light of recent events.

By Xyrea on Thursday, September 20, 2001 - 11:54 am:

    Whoooo-hooo! ~(doing a jig)~ I got a great big hug.

    Thank you.

By Eri on Thursday, September 20, 2001 - 12:11 pm:

I'm feeling left out! I love hugs, but I am too short. I just hug my kids instead.

By Eri on Thursday, September 20, 2001 - 12:11 pm:

By pez on Thursday, September 20, 2001 - 05:24 pm:

sheet music, guitar, lamps, towels and zines. and a chair. not to mention tons of craft supplies.

tomorrow i'll take more stuff. tons of books and candles and cds. prolly my beanbag chair too.

i want to dance. a dance, a dance! a hug for a dance!

By moonit on Thursday, September 20, 2001 - 06:04 pm:

    Thanx Rhi ; )

By patrick on Thursday, September 20, 2001 - 06:11 pm:

By Czarina on Thursday, September 20, 2001 - 10:46 pm:

Platypus, what kind of work do you do?

    I'm curious,because of the astroglide.

Do you think it was leftover from an individual,or is this something your company supplies, like a little bonus benefit?

By pez on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 02:36 am:

By TBone on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 11:32 am:

Astroglide makes a tasty afternoon snack.

Very rockin' pez. Enjoy the new place!

By TBone on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 11:42 am:

And damn do I ever need a hug...

I'm losing my mind. I'm surrounded by people who are too busy to listen.

My roomie stood me up twice in one day,(I had to scramble to catch a bus to work since he drove me to school then forgot about me) then invited EVERYONE over to the apartment while I was trying to do homework, then took the whole party and and left when I finished. Everyone but me is leaving town early tomorrow morning.

Actually, It'll be a good thing, I think. I'll color my hair green, go out Saturday by myself, consume at least the LD50 of caffeine, get lost, find trouble, come back Sunday morning and be antisocial until people come back to town.

By Hal on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 12:42 pm:

    Damnit TBone.... Screw....

Dude, why didn't you call me up... Remember I'm alive over here.

By TBone on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 01:02 pm:

I need to get away for a while. More people isn't what I need.

By The Watcher on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 01:03 pm:

Spider, after all your hugs and shareing. I think I'll give you a nice erotic fantasy.

Being married I only allow myself these private thoughts.

After all I do beleive in commitment.

Or perhaps maybe I should be committed.

By patrick on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 01:20 pm:

    HA!!!!!

how do you give an erotic fantasy?

can you order that like an erotic cake?

By patrick on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 01:24 pm:

i stayed home today too.....we should gossip on the phone spider.

i stayed up late getting hell bent on liquor and valium. My drive, one i get going on booze lately is starting to scare me, as I'm a runaway freight train it seems.

My head is starting to feel better.

I put on my sassy pants and am going to go get some slides from the lab, some chemicals from the store and tonight i won a ticket to see Steve Wynn, of the Dream Syndicate byt answering a trivia question. Should be a good show, too bad Kendra Smith wont be there though.

Tomorro we are invited to a film screening/Sundance benefit and a party.

    Lots of distractions.

By pez on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 01:51 pm:

    yuppo. *hugs tbone*

good luck alex, on your move.

i thought i wasn't going to have a bed, but last night at work, a coworker mentioned that she needs to get rid of her bed (she's getting a new one) and so i've got a "captain's bed" frame and a twin-size mattress for free if i can just get my mom to let me drive the van one day this weekend.

my parents will let me, it's just a matter of calling mom at work and pleading nicely. after all, there's no money involved.

my dad is fighting me tooth and nail over my taking sylvie. i don't see the big deal. i've been responsible for sylvie since the day i brought her home, took her to the vet for a checkup and vaccination, had her spayed, paid for everything and spoiled her rotten. she'll have plenty of roaming space (even as an indoor cat) and the house dog (ozzrick) is one that even i like.

i want everything to go along smoothly because this is my first time moving by myself and i've already overcome so many obstacles in my way.

"i've come so far, i've done so much,
but in the end, it doesn't really matter,
i had to fall to lose it all,
but in the end, it doesn't really matter."

By Hal on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 02:15 pm:

    GO PEZ!!!!

Hal gets his DSL on Monday, after almost a month of waiting for the local phone company Qwest to get their heads out of their asses.

So Hal will get to see the sorabjites more often then just at work...

    Yippee.

By Snotty Poopy Person on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 02:22 pm:

Does Hal always speak in third person?

By pez on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 02:27 pm:

    *hugz for the halster too*

pez needs to get off the computer and drive the rest of her music equipment across town now, and all her wicca stuff.

she got a call this morning from her boss, pleading for her to come in an hour early. so this week she's a mere 15 minutes from doing 40 hours.

    moola!

By Hal on Friday, September 21, 2001 - 06:51 pm:

    I HAVE DSL!!!!

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....

I CAN SEE THE WORLD FROM HOME NOW... WHOHOOOOOOOO.

By Hal on Saturday, September 22, 2001 - 04:28 am:

    Fuck you, you ass.

By TBone on Monday, September 24, 2001 - 12:08 pm:

I'm much better now. Catharsis Weekend executed perfectly.

By Ophelia on Tuesday, September 25, 2001 - 02:33 pm:

    Congratulations!!!

By pez on Tuesday, September 25, 2001 - 02:36 pm:
