    of the funniest thing that I ever did. In Tallahassee, FL, there was a pet store called "fish freaks". I heard on the radio that fish freaks was having a grand "re-opening", and was offering free beer to any prospective customers who stopped by (college town). So I picked up my girlfriend and we headed down to the location where fish freaks had been for years. We walked in, and there was 1 large fish tank, and a group of people sitting in chairs listening to a speaker. I turned to my girlfriend and said "boy, these people must really be fish freaks!". I must admit I was young, and we were likely disruptive - as a man came over and asked if he could help us. I replied, "we're here for the free beer".

    I have never been met by as stony a look as I was at that moment - so I said, "you know, fish freaks - grand re-opening - free beer - It's on the radio!!"

    The man then informed us that fish freaks had moved to it's new location, and that the building we were in was now housing the local AA.

    I remembering having to sit down on the curb outside, tears of laughter pouring down my cheeks - to have gone to the local AA chapter and say "I'm here for the free beer". We never did make it to fish freaks that day - we could hardly drive without starting up giggling again.
