    i was just wondering if you can call these around the world payphones over the internet.if you can how?if you cant can i phone them on a united kingdom phone?please send me something.

    On Dialpad.com (sorry I don't know how to place a HTML tag here), you can call any phone in the US for free. It doesn't work on my computer, but I made my phone ring with it so I guess it works. I hear that they plan on adding international call to that. Imagine that, no more LD. WAY cool!

    I haven't had any luck with Dialpad either. The microphone on you machine apparently has to be set to some funky setting. Besides, I prefer paying for my phone service like an idiot. The concept is mind boggling though. I can't imagine that AT&T and Bell etc relish the thought of this.
    I know it won't work in the Netscape 4.6 browser.
