Has anyone else received an email, fax or letter that includes any of the following points?

    - our country is unstable, royal family is splitting, recent wars..., Due to tragic events of 9/11..., etc.
    - government being redone. Need to move cash before it gets confiscated.
    - please receive rediculously large amount of money to your account. We will let you keep 30% after the deal.

If you play the game, you have to pay for some legal fees in their country (usually a country in Africa) which come to about 5000 dollars U.S.

I told one to just take that out of my cut, but he said they don't have access to the money until we make the legal documents showing that I am "next of kin" or such. But he DID send me a photo of the money.

    Anyone get messeges like this?

By J on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 - 02:53 am:

I mean this from my heart Dougie, you crack me up.I know you backslid on the smoking, but I hope it was just for that day,I am going to try the patch as soon as I get the business with my mother taken care of.What was that song Doris Day sang? Whatever will be,will be,I asked my mother what would I be,would I be pretty, would I be rich, this's what she said to me.Anyway I think it in my head and it makes me cry.

By eri on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 - 08:55 am:

Que sera sera. That is the name of the song. My grandmother used to sing it to me, too. We used to dance around her living room and sing it when I would spend summers with her.

J, are you getting any help with this. You sound so down. I know because I was there just a couple of months ago, but don't be afraid to ask the doctor for help, if you need it.

By Dougie on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 - 09:08 am:

Thanks J. Yeah, I've been backsliding and forwardsliding, so to speak. I'll buy a pack one day, smoke 5 cigs, throw away the pack, and then go for 2 smokeless days, then do the same thing again. The patch helps, but you've really got to want to quit smoking. Also, it never happened when I tried them before, but the patches would give me these huge raised rashes and would itch like hell. When I'd take them off at night, I'd have a big red raised spot on my arm where the patch was. Maybe they changed their formula?

By eri on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 - 12:50 pm:

I don't know if they changed their formula or not, but the same thing happened to me when I tried the patch. On top of that it made me sick to my stomach. I think there was too much nicotine in them or something, but the patches were almost as bad as bcp's.

Of course, the pill, wellbutrin, didn't do shit for me either, other than fuck with my emotional balance.

By McGruff on Tuesday, April 9, 2002 - 03:15 pm:

Try heroin, you'll forget all about nicotine.

perhaps you should apply reverse psychology to yourself...smoke more and maybe your body will rebel against this new trend and you'll end up smoke free...
