The Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta - wow that place is huge. It used to have lots of payphones too, at least 100 of them two years ago. Since then, many entire banks of 4 or 5 phones have been removed (some wall panels still have large "Telephones" placards presiding over empty former phone banks) and most (but not all) remaining phone banks have been reduced to one or two phones.

The payphone list here has 55 listings for payphones in that facility, but on a survey last month it was discovered that only 12 of those phones are still in the GWCC. Whoever collected the numbers here also missed a great many that are still in service, mostly inside the massive exhibit halls themselves and the connectors between the three buildings. Only 44 phones were found last month, on a four day scour of every wall and corridor in the facility. They can be found at http://www.artofhacking.com/files/gwccpay.txt and your Payphone Project webmaster is invited to incorporate those numbers into the list on this site.
