Ironically last night I learned for the first time of the Austin TX college/belltower shootings in 1962. It was some special on 20/20 or some show like that. Now I know where the irony came to play in a particular Simpsons episode in which Flanders has a dream (or maybe Homer has the dream) in which Flanders goes up to a watchtowere and begins shooting Homers..."there's a Homer BANG!....there's a Homer, BANG!......there's a Homer BANG!" nontheless, it is of personal interest to me because it's my home town. It makes me angry. Just like the bombs that went off during the Olympics and shortly thereafter when the lesbian bar got bombed and an abortion clinic. Call it civic pride, but that kind of fucked up shit HAS got to stop, unfortuantely it's so impossible to predict....fucking no remorse son of a bitch.
