Keep an eye in the sky over the next few nights, might get a glimpse of an aurora due to intense solar flare storms..........cool shit.

report back with any sightings of fantastic colors in the night sky.....

Does this affect the whole United States or just some areas?

    And is it tonight?

By patrick on Friday, June 9, 2000 - 05:16 pm:

yes, the more north you are the better chance. tonight, tomorrow night and possibly sunday night. the last time this happened,in april, a photographer captured an amazing aurora over fayetteville, nc....it is posssible as far asouth as that.

i apologize....the press release from nasa is dated the 7th, so last night AND tonight are th best times to catch it.....yahoo poasted the story only today...giving me the impression another falre had erupted.

so drop that X tab and go into the woods with a loved tonight!

    wasn't that last night?

By Isolde on Saturday, June 10, 2000 - 05:09 pm:

Oh, I was supposed to do _X_? Shit. Oh well. I still had a fun time. and it was rather cloudy, so I saw nothing in the sky. Or maybe I did. Sources are unclear. I remember the aurora borealis, though. Although, first, I played cards in Denny's. I feel really stupid playing cards in Denny's, have I mentioned that? There was some reason why we all wanted to do it, so we went and played Spades. Not even poker or something redeeming. Spades. Igh.
