    Offer a person as penance? That is some seriously sick shit. I do not understand how you can even justify that in your own mind. No one deserves to die the way those people did.

    There are other options than nuclear war. Some of us would quite happily see this end in peace.

    But to demean those people's lives is just wrong. Palestinians have died, Israelis have died, Americans have died. In the end, who gives a shit where they're from? These are *human lives* we're talking about.
