They seem to pop off with some frequency nowadays, and I know a few folks here watch it or used to, so I thought I'd start athread devoted to those who get pinned for all eternity.

The latest to shuffle off the mortal coil is Crash Holly, who was found dead last week in Steven Richards' house in Florida. He played the tenacious little cousin of Bob "Hardcore" Holly and Molly Holly in the WWE, and was most well known as the Hardcore champion during a period of that title when the belt had to be defended 24/7 and there coudl be a match anywhere at anytime, which led to wrestling matched in a number of amusing locations.

Yea. And what about Hawk from the Legion of Doom? He just died also. That was a bad looking mo-fo. Mr.Perfect kicked the bucket in the near past as well. I wonder what steriods have to do with this?

jesus christ, i didnt even know about Crash until right now... I'm reading that he choked on his own vomit. Even more surprising is that the dude was 34. didn't look it.

When Crash started disappearing off TV, I pretended that he didn't really leave, but that he was a mad scientist, and that Brock Lesnar was his Mr. Hyde... and as Crash appeared less and less on TV, it meant the potion was sinking in...

    me and my imagination.

See, that would have been a GREAT storyline.

What's the matter with the writers these days? No creativity.

It seems to me that if you are a wrestler and make to 50, you're home free until you reach your eighties.

also died this year: Classy Freddy Blassie, Curt Henning, and Miss Elizabeth, as well as a bunch of lesser known wrestlers.

hey sem, did you see that NWA-TNA dared to sign LEX LUGER?

By semillama on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 - 06:47 pm:

Morons. As long as they don't sign Buff Bagwell...

By Skooter on Thursday, November 13, 2003 - 11:24 am:

Oh God! Buff Bagwell. What a piece of shit. Like Golddust and Mark Henry, who also both suck. You know the wrestler can't act when he has to have a manager do all his speaking for him.
The only ones I care about at all anymore are Goldburg, Austin, Batista, Rocky, Benoit, Booker T is good for a laugh. Triple H is a good villian. But I'm sick of Bischoff and the writing has gotten so weak. I long for the days of the early 90's.

"You know the wrestler can't act when he has to have a manager do all his speaking for him."

sometimes its better to let a monster have someone else talk for him.. and Teddy Long is just the right guy to do it...

Goldust doesnt really wrestle anymore, he's a 'skit' guy, and he's amazing at it.

I cant believe anyone just spoke up for Batista... Batista is so bad he makes Mark Henry look like Jushin Liger.

HHH hasnt been a good villain since his injury. Funny how he lost his in-ring skill and his personality all at once
