My logic was if the capitalites can't get their money one way, they'll certainly get it another, it's after all cutting into their wages. But it was easy to see the normal joe who thought it sounded like a good idea would overcome the ones who are musing over it because it's more than it seems. My girlfriend really didn't like it cause her firefighter boyfriend might be feeling the effects of it. A guy told me now that this has passed, any tax initiatives raised have to be passed by us. Lovely. This was the first time I ever wanted to really vote cause somehow I thought I could change something, and I couldn't, I forgot to register before this. But at least the tabs on my '94 Saturn will be cheaper. |

They're saying the state won't feel the impact, but the reality is that the budget surplus will be spent in a year and then say hello to Mr. State Income Tax. |

I thought we were a rich state already? 7.8% tax or whatnot, not to say this is going to change any outcome, oh no.. money will be received one way or the other.
