I believe that it will be a new episode of this odd show, tonight Monday at 9Central, Comedy Central.

Ouch, you like that show? I've tried it -- just can't get into it. But UCB after it, that's a different story.

    "Make your Hobby Your Job!"

I switched between that and wrestling. Wrestling was really good tonight, so I didn't catch a whole lot of it. I have this weird pseudo crush on the female member of UCB (don't know her real name). Then again, I've always had a thing for women who have weird senses of humor.

I love the fucked up things UCB does in public. My favorite was when they were in a store and asking the prices of things, and when the lady told them, they started crying.

or "Were you trying to read my diary?"

My favorite: The Bucket of Truth.

close second: The whole frat boy episode.

    "Chumbawumba, Dude!"

    "Chumbawumba."

I remember thinking at some point that I wanted to tell Semillama that I decided Chyna was not a man after all, but now I can't remember when or why I thought that. maybe it was a dream and in my dream there was some further proof. At any rate, I stand by my former opinion.

They're rerunning my favorite episode next week: the flower girl at the wedding rehearsal who can't get it right/the hornless unicorn/ugly people support group (girlfriend who looks like an ape -- "I committed bestiality")/man who shot wife episode. It's a classic.

I haven't seen Strangers with Candy yet, but I realized last night that Amy Sedaris is the sister of David Sedaris, the writer who appears on This American Life from time to time. So I might Check it out. He wrote:

"Test eyeshadow on all the rabbits you want. Strap electrodes to the skulls of rhesus monkeys and shock them into a stupor, but it is inhumane to place a nudist on horseback the day after a chilli cook-off. ("Was he _always_ an Appaloosa?")"

    From his book _Naked_

    David Sedaris is the best!
Elves and Santas, Santas and Elves!

I read that, too! I liked the story about the dirty book with all the misspelled words. I think he mentions his sister Amy in that one.

Ohhhhhh I just remembered The Best one. The John Denver fan club. "Sunshine, on my nutsack, makes me happpeeee!" "Thank God I'm a nutsack boy!" And then they went out convincing people that John Denver's song originally had the word nutsack in them but the publishers wouldn't allow it.

The one about the dirty book was good. I'm pretty sure Amy gets a mention in that one. I liked the one about OCD too, where he describes his rituals of touching the doorknobs, and how he would rock incessantly in bed in college, so his roommate thought he was masturbating.

One of the sisters gets mentioned in Dinah, the Christmast Whore, but I'm not sure if that was Amy or not.
