I had dinner with a Polish zoo-keeper. Only he grew up in the Chezch Republic, so he's actually working in a Chezch zoo. He's very cool. He's studying economics and zoology--he wants to implement a dual system in European zoos where one person manages business and one person manages the animals. He's touring the San Diego zoo, which is apparently a big model for European zoos. His name is Thomas. We brought up baby rhino pictures on a web cam. And I have an English language pamphlet for his zoo.
