    you take the good,
    you take the bad,
    you take them both,
    and there you have,
    the facts of life,
    the facts of life.

a _facts of life_ marathon all week long. i've been relishing in one of the most influential sitcoms of my childhood. not really, but it's better than studying.

i want a cd or tape of all of those theme songs. you know from shows like _three's company_.

By Gee on Friday, September 8, 2000 - 01:57 am:

I remember I watched an episode of Full House once where uncle Jesse had to keep singing the theme song to Three's Company to a mule or a goat or something. he kept singing it like this:

"come and knock on our door. we've been waiting for you. we've got the thing, and the thing, and the other thing. three's company too."

it annoyed the Heck out of me!

also, I don't know why, but I was putting a lot of energy into connecting different TV shows through the characters. like if you assume that different tv shoes take place in alternate dimensions, which ones share the same dimension? I managed to get eight shows connected, but I had to stop because I don't know some of the shows all that well.

    -"Law & Order"
-"Law & Order: SVU" (too obvious)
-"Homicide: Life on the Street" (crossovers with L&O)
-"the X-Files" (Munch from Homicide and SVU was on an episode)
-"the Brady Bunch" (Munch was in the second movie)
-"Millinium" (Frank Black was in an episode of the X-Files)
-"Chicago Hope" (I think it was Homicide that he was on for about five seconds.)
-"Picket Fences" (crossover with "Chicago Hope")

I can't think of anymore. I want to say "Oz", but that would be wrong, wouldn't it? They just have a lot of the same actors as Homicide and L&O.

    I just thought of more!

-"The Simpsons" (Mulder and Scully guested)
    -"The Critic" (through the Simpsons)

I was going to say Archie Andrews and co. through the Simpsons, and then follow the chain reaction to pretty well Every comic universe there is, but I figured I'd just stick to TV shows and movies.
