    My friends Andi and Jamie* are down from Wellington today. They were sposed to get to my place between 6-7pm. Its now 8.15, and they've just rung to say that they are on their way and bringing chinese. Food, not the people.

    I have had one vodka and a million ciggies while I wait.

    These guys are so freakin cool - They got married a year ago, and I can't think of two people better suited.

    What surprises me the most is that they are religious. I've never really had religious friends before. They never try to preach at me, and when I tell them my skanky/slapper stories they laugh, and Andi offers to set me up with her brother.

    We are going out drinking. Jamie has a friend who owns an underground bar that I have never heard of, so that could be interesting. I thought he was joking, but then I talked to Sharon and she said 'yeah its under the Hog - I've never been there, let me know what its like'.

    Yeah. Drinking with friends I haven't seen for ages is always fun.


    *not to be confused with my other friend Jamie who lives in Christchurch and I went to see Live with.
