    No. I think he grew feathers and then plucked them before he was caught.

    I thought I was growing feathers once. I was about 11 and every night before bed I'd have to pick these little tiny feathers off my skin and I didn't know where they were coming from and I thought I had some strange disease that was making me grow feathers. It turned out to be the down lining in my jacket, but before I realized that, it kind of freaked me out.
