    When did the neighborhood turn around? I know people who went to school at Catholic in the '80s and they say the streets in that area were truly frightening.

    3 years ago I was mugged at 14th & Otis, and briefly that paralyzed me with fear, but you can't let it get to you or you will stop living.

    I am quite happy in Brookland.
