And let me tell you, it was a good time to be had by all, except the one casualty of the trip: my beloved, and only, camera. So we're hopping about on these rocks, right, and my companion suddenly loses his balance and windmills around before crashing into the water. And I reach for my camera to photograph the hilarity... And realize it was in his pocket. I dried it out and tried it with fresh batteries--it's dead. I am majorly bummed. I mean, it wasn't the most awesome camera in the world, but it was a workhorse and I am super poor right now so I can't afford to replace it. Fuck. |
the thing still worked but the pictures were all psychedelic-esque. sorry about your camera. maybe hang onto it and try to fire it up in a month or so, after it dries out completely. |

car accident (they rolled down a hill), and my roommate M. lost her iPod in the snow somewhere. A month later, M. goes back to the hill. The snow is melted, her iPod is sitting there, and it still works. My camera is broken, too, Platy -- also because it got wet. When I'm feeling more enterprising I'll take it to a camera store to see if they can recover the film inside. |
