And I don't understand when it happened or why. Why now? What's this label on my shirt? It's not McDonalds, it's -Grays Harbor College Student-, Aberdeen Washington USA.. I'm thinking this as I go down the stairs to my car. I'm seeing kids I knew from High School, some I'd rather avoid, or not even give the chance of day, and then some it's good to see around there, "What are you doing here?" "Well duh, I didn't go to school enough, what do you think?" "Oh right.. well.. have fun!". Today I was asked in Painting why I took painting. I want to know how painting feels. I see paintings in the mueseums all the time, and I want to know what those guys were feeling when they were painting, or at least come close to the painting feeling. If anything, I'll have fun puting paint on my hands and feeling how the paint feels. It's like I feel there's something inside me that I just hadn't quite opened up, it's just inside and stored, down in this creaky basement, and I just haven't turned the light on yet to take a good looksee.

I'm a weirdo graphic artist living in an ultra-conservative, bizzaro-repressed town. I'm the guy who works on a computer for 8 hrs, then goes home and boots up and plays games for another 4-5 hours. The same person who has limited contact with people outside work, but has a network of virtual friends (real friends, actually - guys I've known since high school) that he interacts with in gaming environments via the internet. And he should probably get back to work and be productive now....

that's a little sad, wavy. you should get out a little more. the real world can be kinda neat, sometimes. too much time in front of the computer makes your skin turn gray.
