By Spider on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 - 04:31 pm:

Thanks, Agatha! It's almost as good as my beloved penguin joke.

    Here's another old favorite:

A duck walks into a bookstore and waddles up to the counter.

"Got any bananas?" asks the duck.
"No," says the guy behind the counter. "Get out of here. We're not supposed to have animals in here."
"Okay," says the duck, and waddles out.

Five minutes later the duck waddles back into the store.
"Got any bananas?" asks the duck.
"No!" says the guy. "Get out of here!"
"Okay," says the duck, and waddles out.

Five minutes later the duck waddles back into the store.
"Got any bananas?" asks the duck.
"No!" says the guy. "Get out of here! And if you come back, I'm going to nail your beak to the floor!"
"Okay," says the duck, and waddles out.

Five minutes later the duck waddles back into the store.
"Got any nails?" asks the duck.
"Umm... no?" says the guy behind the counter.
"Got any bananas?" asks the duck.

My fairy name is Fidget? This is definitly fairy... Mine is almost the same as pez's and patricks. This isn't a very fun game.

By semillama on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 - 05:28 pm:

It has nothing on the Pirate Name Generator...

    Sorry, Spider, but it's true.

By semillama on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 - 05:40 pm:

    How about these:

Hobbit Name turned me into Podo Loamsdown of Deep Hollow.

WHite Lesbian Name turned me into Mugwort Nightnut, which is eerily simmilar to the fairy name generator

Tough Name made me Sledge Stompheader

By moonit on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 - 06:10 pm:

    Hobbit: Esmerelda Grubb

Which is funny because when I was a kid, mum used to call me grub.

    I like that. Drake Mylar.

    Bark Pigiron
    -Speaking of fairy names...

By pamela on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 - 12:22 am:

    Hobbit Name:
    Flora Sandydowns

    White Lesbian Name:
    SweetPea WilyWomon

    Tough Name:
    Biff Plexiglass

By Spider on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 - 08:36 am:

Tough name: Cliff Tile Floor. Ha!

Sem, I know pirates are heads and tails better than pansy-assed fairies, but each of the fairy names is different, while there were only, like, 4 different pirate names you could have. That's not so exciting.

By patrick on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 - 11:12 am:

yeah the lesbian name generator was weak too if not downright stupid. you could put the same name in, and keep hitting reload and come up with many names. the fairy name generator indeed gives an individual assignment.

By semillama on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 - 11:56 am:

You get more than 4 names with the pirate generator, but only if you can bear not being a captain.

By crimson on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 - 01:05 pm:

well, we finally discovered our hobbit, lesbian & tough names:

    PILATE:
    lesbian-Diana RedBelly
    hobbit-Dimple Brandybuck of Buckland
    tough-Meat Concrete

    OSWALD:
    lesbian-Diamond LaughingWaters
    hobbit-Todo Brandybuck of Buckland
    tough-Adam Beefcake

    CRIMSON:
    lesbian-Justice LightWeaver
    hobbit-Marigold Boggy-Hillocks
    tough-Vic Slabshaft

PUG (who isn't even here, but what the hell, he needs a funny name, too) :
    lesbian-Lily NightLizard
    hobbit-Meriadoc Moss of Lake-By-Downs
    tough-Chunk Manmusk

i think pilate wins...it doesn't get much tougher than "meat concrete".

By pez on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 - 02:24 pm:
