    fort worth star/telegram obituaries 8/8/06

Cyndy was born Dec. 2, 1947, lived a good life and raised a family in Fort Worth, where she will be laid to rest. Cyndy waged a decadelong standoff against debilitating MS until her body had nothing left with which to fight. Through it all she smiled, joked, and earned the love and respect of the ever-hanging group of down-on-their-luck people she allowed to move into her house. She couldn't say no to those with nowhere else to go.

She mostly will miss her daughter, Shelley; granddaughter, Mariah; grandson, Thomas III, "T"; and her beloved dog, Daisy.

Cyndy was a good girl, a good woman, and she deserved better than she got. The sweetest ones usually do. Her last words to us were, "I love everybody. Tell everybody I love them."
