The biggest reason behind wishing I was a musical genius is that it would open the doors to working with some of the creative minds I admire most. I try to picture what it must have been like for Paul and Eric to collaborate on this song. I can't imagine. I wish I was there.

This is a list of people I would love to collaborate with, jam with, whatever:

    1.) David Bowie
    2.) Paul McCartney
    3.) Miles Davis
4.) Gene & Dean (Mushrooms or not)
    5.) Frank Black
    6.) Lou Reed
    7.) ...

Ach, the list isn't complete and the order isn't important after #1. David Bowie is not necessarily my largest influence musically, but I admire his creativity and ability to reinvent himself above anyone else. I have a black and white poster of him, his hands folded under his chin, a Fedora on his head. The picture is probably from the mid-70's. He's just there, watching over my studio with a contemplating gaze. Monitoring my work.

My Christ, my Buddha, my John Holmes, lover.

Except for the fact that it was 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' and was written by George Harrison, and not Paul McCartney.

    I'm still dead.

    Fuck. Nevermind then.

I only like the eric clapton parts anyway.

Last night I channeled Linda for about 30 seconds. I think she had something important to say, but I was at the tail end of beating off so I kept telling her to shut up for a minute.

    She didn't stick around.

Actually, Nirvana wrote 'Nevermind'. Just wanted to clear that up.
