By Dave on Thursday, October 29, 1998 - 12:09 am:

I think it's that sappy one by the Mr T Experience. You know, the one where the dorky guy falls in love with the beautiful girl who won't give him the time of day. That one.

By Agatha on Thursday, October 29, 1998 - 04:22 am:

no, that one is called "your dad's ass".

By Dave on Thursday, October 29, 1998 - 11:22 am:

    go hump a pillow

By Dani on Thursday, October 29, 1998 - 12:09 pm:

I had a Pomeranian dog one time that used to hump a pillow. When I threw the pillow away, he chose my cat to hump instead. My daughter, at the time about 3 years old, used to run around saying..."Mommy, the dog is LUMPIN' the cat"..where she got LUMPIN' from is beyond me but it caused some very embarrasing moments there for a while. Thank God she stopped saying that when the dog passed away.

By Rowlfe on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 02:28 am:

i'm going to just say it:

thats the only good Mother Love Bone song

anyone claiming that MLB was really gonna be big and important are just saying it cuz he's dead and thats what you say about dead rock stars whose members go on to form Pearl Jam...

By moonit on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 03:33 am:

    shit a 1998 post.

    thats bloody frightening.

By Skooter on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 04:10 am:

Oh, come on rowlfe. I'll be the first to admit that they vered to the cheesy side, hello (glam rockers and makeup), but they did have some other good tunes.
This is Shangrila, Captain High Top the Love Commander, Gentle Groove.
That shit would have sold like hot cakes if he had lived. I mean Guns and Roses took the glam rock thing and ran with it about that time.
Plus, Andy dying created Temple of the Dog, whose sole album is one of my favorites.
Andy's hero was Glen Campbell and he also liked Elton John.

By kazu on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 11:11 am:

    "he also liked Elton John"

that's all i need to hear.

    ew.

"actually the Singles sound track. The best sound track in the world"

    actually, no.

    ew.

By kazu on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 11:19 am:

I take that back. It's not the soundtrack that I hated, it was the movie. And I really HATED the movie. And it was one of those I felt like I was the only one who hated it, and therefor I had to hate it even more. Anyway, the problem is that whenever it comes up the only song that comes to mind is *Dyslexic Heart* which makes me ill every time. I probably liked the music, though my interest in grunge was slight and short lived.

By Rowlfe on Sunday, December 14, 2003 - 01:14 pm:

    the soundtrack is pretty good

MLB, good Pearl Jam bsides, the Pumpkins, that Led Zeppelin cover, Alice in Chains...

I wasnt into Temple of the Dog at all

By Skooter on Monday, December 15, 2003 - 12:03 am:

Singles also had "Waterfalls" by Hendrix, "Nearly Lost you" by Screaming Trees,
    Seasons by Cornell.
That is a great soundtrack, but I hated that Paul Westerburg song. We'd always fast forward that one.

By Rowlfe on Monday, December 15, 2003 - 12:14 am:

oh, those Westerburg songs are fucking terrible

By kazu on Monday, December 15, 2003 - 12:39 am:

    my brane hurts right now

By patrick on Monday, December 15, 2003 - 12:34 pm:

the bad bad bad grungy scene is rearing its holey, tattered self.
