Naomi is a band I knew in Albuquerque. I was not buds with them, but they were nice enough to acknowledge that I showed up in the audience at a lot of shows. After I quit AOL and before I moved to Colorado, I worked at an architectural firm and one of their two vocalists/guitar guys delivered blueprints. He recognized me, and asked how I'd been. I told him basically that I was dead broke and trying to save up to get out of Albuquerque, and all my CDs had been stolen. So he brought me their CD. I was completely in love with him for the weeks before I left Albuquerque. It was just indescribably nice. And the band is extremely good. So if you ever find yourself in Albuquerque, check the weekly alibi to see where they might be playing, and hie yourself there. The CD is called "World Spinning," and was released by Imoan, and indie out of Albuquerque.
