Been listening to it off and on all week... God, I love this piece. Makes me SO yearn for a piano in the house again. <sigh> I've always loved classical music, and even more so since I became involved in orchestra when I was in Jr. High. It definitely gave me a higher appreciation and understanding for the music. My old upright, antique is down @ my mom's and is terribly in need of some TLC (tuning, pads replaced on the pedals..) and I just don't have the $/time/resources to move it. My boyfriend's grandmother is moving @ the end of the month and had promised my boyfriend the piano when she passed away or moved to a retirement home. It's also an antique upright but is in much better shape than the one at my mom's, but it's the same thing with having it moved. She said she'll probably sell it if we aren't going to pay to have it moved. But I believe it's pretty pricey, if I'm not mistaken. It would kill me to see it sold since it's been in the family forever and every time I'd visit her, I'd spend hours sitting there playing.

What to do, what to do... Well, maybe my tax return will help solve that! Heh, *fingers crossed*

Oops, typo... 'Rhapsody ON A Theme', that is. Didn't hit 'stop' in time to catch that.

Did you know that the Rhapsody is Paganini's theme turned upside down? Just turn the sheet music around and there you go.

Yes, I did hear that somewhere awhile back but haven't thought to try it yet.
