I bloody well love this song. And the videoclip is very clever.

    My Happiness

I see your shadow on the street now
I hear you push through the rusty gate
Click of your heels on the concrete
Waiting for a knock coming way too late
It seems an age since I've seen you
Countdown as the weeks trickle into days

So you come in and put your bags down
I know there's something in the air
How can I do this to you right now
If you're over there when I need you here

My happiness is slowly creeping back
    Now you're at home
If it ever starts sinking in
It must be when you pack up and go

It seems an age since I've seen you
Countdown as the weeks trickle into days
I hope that time hasn't changed you
All I really want is for you to stay

I know I know I know what is inside

I was just telling Dave yesterday how cool Powderfinger were. Them and Killing Heidi.

They're both from Moonit's and my part of the rock. In the bestest hemisphere in other words.

    Never heard em'...

God I live in a isolated place...

Fasion is still months behind here, as well as hit music.

By moonit on Monday, January 29, 2001 - 05:43 pm:

Its not that Hal, its that both Powderfinger and
Killing Heidi (who i also love) are Aussie
bands that you may never hear. Unless I burn
you another cd of course. ; )

Our bands make it in New Zealand first, then
they clamber over the ocean to Ozstralia
(hehe) to try and conquer that music scene.

In other New Zealand news, my x workmate
from another office is now working on the lord
of the rings movie doing graphicy type stuff.
Shes seen whats been shot so far and
    bloopers.

alright, i'm d/ling it off napster. i'm wary and skeptical but i'll give it a try.

See that sucks, I love forigne music... I love Japanese stuff.

And some good bands have come out of NZ.

    I KNOW! hehe

Dave - download Lydia by Fur Patrol too, and Home Again by Shihad.

i don't know. it seems like chick music to me. i like different stuff than that. you'd probably not associate with the stuff i like either. no big.

no doubt good stuff comes from there. the saints were great. the birthday party, hunters and collectors up until "the jaws of life", midnight oil before "diesel and dust". aren't luna from orstralia?

    i tried.

btw, mark will probably not approve but if anyone wants a copy of turbo*tax*2*k, i could make it available to you. perfectly good proggy, it seems shameful to just throw it away after 1 use. 25 meg download. inquire above.

I'm poor... I do my taxes by hand...

    The poor losers way.

Luna is from Boston, at least the front man Dearn Warham. Luna is derived from Galaxy 500 whom were pure Bostonian.

By dave. on Tuesday, January 30, 2001 - 01:08 pm:

hmm. i remember reading they were from australia. maybe it was just the bass player or something. he's in tuatara now, i think. maybe that's where i heard it from.

I wonder if the Muttonbirds or Strawpeople might be more Dave's style?
