    i heard this on the radio last night. in my car. somewhat toasted. the only thing i can remember is the hook - which is more or less:

    that's not hot
    all you do is talk alot
    that's not hot
    - and then something about not being a real m.c., it think.

    i think it's krs-one, but what do i know. whoever it was, i can't get it out of my head. i'm even using the words in conversation. if any of you sorabjites who are hipper than me - and you are legion - can identify this for me, do.

    i was messing around on basss this afternoon and picked out the "gilligan's island" theme on it. never noticed it before, but it modulates after each verse. i'm wondering what it would sound like with a latin hip-hop backbeat.
