hello, sorabji-i haven't visited you in about 4 yrs.-but, lying awake, in bed, i kept remembering all the discussions and arguments and fun i used to have on the message boards. |

last night i also had trouble sleeping when the police started beating on my front door (with truncheons, apparently). then they just went away. true story. |

on friday night, the night before the cops were beating on my door, a big storm front came in from the west - one of those events where all the tv shows are pre-empted for non-stop weather reports. all of north texas was under a tornado alert. i used to not worry too much about heavy weather until a tornado actually touched down in downtown fort worth, literally down the street from me, and tore the city up. but the storm on friday blew through us with only some heavy rain and hail and then moved five miles up into haltom city where twisters ripped the roof off a supermarket and destroyed a church. my world is too freaky to get freaked out in. |

movie........so much more has come out about that shooter-'cho seung-hiu.......people knew he was dangerous, but privacy laws prohibited his teachers from doing anything about it......what in th HELL as humans can we do to stop this kind of stuff........nothing? my song in my head-i have a complete orchestra in there,...is something like ' i wanna be anesthatized' and i think i misspelled that....... |
