That the revolution's near, But to me it seems quite clear, That it's all just a little bit of history repeating.... Propellerheads - History Repeating (Featuring Miss Shirley Bassey) I can't get this song out of my head....wouldn't want to either. I haven't heard a song this great in such a long time.... |

No one else comes close to you, No one makes me feel the way you do. You're so special girl, To me, And you'll always be eternally. Everytime I hold you near, You always say the words I love to hear. Girl with just a touch, You can do so much, No one else comes close. 'No one else comes close' by Joe |
"There is no one like you. I can't wait for those nights with you. I imagine the things we'll do. I just wanna be loved by you." That's some phenomenal songwriting! |
The tape's called "The Fiberglass Will Break," which is a reference to the "fiberglass ones," the human equivalent of those two-dimensional houses used as props in old movies, i.e., everyone else in our class. She writes on the inside cover: "To my fellow rider of the apocalypse: it's the end of the world as we know it." We had big plans to incite a revolution in our school. This was in 9th grade (she made me the mix for my 15th birthday), before school had crushed the life out of us and reduced us to crumbling, apathetic husks.
