Music makes my brain hurt.

okay not really, I love music, but picking a flippen song to walk to at the wedding is not working.

We played how about this or that last night and got nowhere, then today I suggested The Pogues I love you till the end; and he said he didn't care because its my entrance and I thought about Kazu and Sem and Star Wars and suggested this:

And he started laughing but said if we did use it we can't tell anyone - I know most people would find it hilarious and it might be better for me (I get emotional) to have a song like that, rather than a lovely dovey romantic number.

So would you laugh? Or would you be like wtf? ARGH help.

If I didn't know better, I'd just think it was grand. Unless you're going sentimental or choreographed processional routine, this is a good choice.

Andrew doesn't do dancing. He reckons he's too white; so any kind of hilarious cute choreography'd thing is not going to happen. I've been watching a lot of wedding stuff on youtube and it appears that we do it very differently here in terms of who is where and who gets to do the aisle walk. But maybe thats more of a reflection of youtube video uploaders rather than a country thing?? I dunno.

I love it. I enjoy weddings where people have a
sense of humour and put it on display.

Everyone thought it was spectacular when I used The Throne Room theme. And I was motivated, in part, by a desire to avoid crying in front of everyone.

Our aisle is really really short; so I only need probably the first minute of it. I think we will do it, it will be so surprising and funny.

Also my friend Jamie looks like Luke Skywalker.

I didn't start walking until about the time that the characters start walking. Most of our guests didn't "get it" until that point since to the nongeek the beginning just sounds like some-sort-of-precession-music-you-know-but-aren't-sure-about and then there is that "a ha" moment. And everyone laughed.

yes yes yes. I think I should just do it! I worry about this shit too much. I totally understand how women become bridezillas!
