oh my god platy, even Futura?? it's so cute! i hate comic sans when used outside sorabji. i hate arial more than anything. For a while i took it off my computer, until Rowlf complained. I'm a serif girl. My favorite font to use for everything is Garamond. My typography teacher used to say "You can't go wrong with Garamond!" and i totally agree. But last year i found Perpetua and now I'm torn. I'm having a love affair with Adobe Caslon Pro. It loaded and it was so good i needed a smoke after. Look at that goddamn Q. I said "baby, where have you been all my life?" I am fontsexual. Our houses's official font is Snowcap. It's so useless and crap. Whenever someone leaves a note, it's in snowcap. Whenever we're designing something, we always use snowcap first. Snowcap! uhm, you know what, I'm stopping this graphics nerd talk right now.

I'm so stoked to find another Garamond afficianado. It's my preferred font as well. We used to leave our nonsense notes in dingbats. It makes things much more entertaining. And Arial should have been taken out back and shot long, long ago. I also don't like the multiple spawn it has created--Arial Black, Arial Dense, etc.

Arial is so evil. My preferred console font is Lucidia Console P. I rarely have to make other font choices.
